The Continental Mark IV is a two-door personal luxury coupe that was sold by the Lincoln division of Ford Motor Company from 1972 to 1976 sharing the underpinnings and much of the roofline with the redesigned Ford Thunderbird for 1972. The Mark IV was given distinct body lines from the windows down and was distinguished by hidden headlights and the Continental spare tire trunk lid all given the car that added character that Lincoln is known for. The exterior color on this 72 Continental Mark IV is a very rich dark brown metallic that is complimented very nicely by the dark tobacco interior and vinyl top. This classic luxury cruiser continues with the rich brown interior onto the shag carpets that scream seventies vintage. The power plant for this 72 Continental Mark IV is the massive 460 cubic inch 5.7L Ford 385 V8 that is linked to a smooth shifting 3 speed C6 automatic transmission both sporting 75129 actual miles.
