Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a very cool 1968 Pontiac Catalina 9 Passenger Station Wagon. This wagon is a really nice solid example of a car that may have been used as a family hauler back in the day. This is not a restored car but rather a nicely kept original car that has had one repaint. The wagon retains its original sheet metal and is solid all the way through. The interior carpet was replaced and the floor pans were coated with POR-15 to keep them in good shape. The carpet is new but the interior is mostly original. This one has room for 9 passengers! With a bench seat up front another bench in the middle and seating for three rear facing passengers in the back. This interior is blue to match the blue exterior. The dash remains uncut and original though an aftermarket stereo has been added. The entire stereo has been added in a fashion that it can be completely removed with no trace. Simply disconnect the wires and the whole kit can be removed to keep the interior stock. The outside is blue and has been repainted once. The paint is still in good shape and shows off some unique bodylines on this Catalina. The wagon rides on a set of very rare Motor Spyder wheels. These wheels give a great look especially with a staggered tire set up for a muscle car look. Pop the hood and youll find the original 400 CID V8 which is in good running order. The transmission is a TurboHydramatic 400 automatic which shifts well. This wagon has received plenty of recent attention. New parts include: water pump alternator wiper motor Pertronix III ignition plugs and wires 2 1/4 dual exhaust power steering box battery and stereo. This wagon brings back memories for many of road trips and family vacations. Some might picture it as a potential slammed down show car stereo on wheels.
