VEHICLE DESCRIPTION

Used 1934 Dodge D100 for sale in DFW AIRPORT, Texas

For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is a one of kind 1934 Dodge D100. What would you expect to find under the butterfly hood? A Chevy 350? In a Dodge I would hope not! Maybe a Hemi to keep with the Mopar theme? Well there is a MOPAR heart here but this rod stands out from the crowd. A 225 CID Slant 6 was chosen to start. A T3 Turbo was then used to force feed more air. Channeling the twist out to the rear wheels is an A904 3-Speed automatic transmission built for racing and a 8 ¾ Mopar rear end with 2.76 gears. That rear end spins some massive 20x10 Colorado Custom rear wheels out back with matching 17x8â??s up front. If you find the boosted straight six elevating your speed more quickly than you would like stomp on the pedal to clamp down on the Wilwood discs and calipers up front. A Heidts Mustang II front end keeps everything in track while a 4 link rear suspension controls the squat. All four corners have a coilovers. If you are a more astute Mopar fan you may notice that this doesnâ??t quite look like a 1934 model everywhere and you would be right. The cab is from a 1935 model while the bed grill and hood are all from a 1933. Because chassis is from a 1934 model this truck is officially a 1934. The most obvious custom feature on the exterior is the air brushed custom flame paint running down the side. However it would forgivable to miss the mini tubs in the bed as the excellent craftsmanship makes them look like they belong. Pop open the door and you will find a leather and suede interior that would make any street rod proud. The grey and purple scheme works wonderfully with the black exterior and the long Lokar shifter finishes off the theme perfectly. This D100 is the streetrod for someone who wants the car that no one else has. You would be hard-pressed to find another truck like this. Donâ??t miss it! To view this vehicle in greater detail including HD pictures and videos visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
