Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a very fun 2002 VW Dune Buggy. This vehicle has everything you need to have a lot of fun and nothing you dont need. Equipment is sparse but the essentials are there. The lightweight tube frame is from Chenworth and is finished in bright yellow. The buggy has everything needed to be street legal! Headlights turn signals a glass windshield and seatbelts keep you safe and legal. To provide the GO for this buggy the engine is a built 2180cc VW flat 4. The engine was built by Archway Import Auto Parts in St. Louis MO. The rebuild has only a couple hundred miles since being done. They threw the aftermarket parts catalogue at this one and the results are a well balanced strong running VW engine. This vehicle pulls strong through all 4 gears and can get you well above the speed limit in hardly any time at all. While youre tearing up the back roads the bucket seats will keep you secure especially with the 4 point racing harnesses. Rack and pinion steering makes for a nicely handling machine. While youre out cruising with the wind in your hair you can crank up the stereo and jam to your favorite tunes.
