For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is a 1958 Pontiac Star Chief. In 1958 Pontiac was rearranging itâ??s lineup giving the Bonneville its own position as the top dog that Pontiac offered. This left the Star Chief in a transitory period for 1958 leading to a one year run of this body style. This unique platform has been completely transformed into a rare hot rod. Under the hood you will find a 427 CID Big Block Chevy V8 the heartbeat of America sporting 2 four barrel carburetors. Backed up by a TH400 transmission this low and long custom is ready to make quick work of those back tires. Purchased as a shell in California this lucky makeover recipient was shipped to Duckyâ??s hot rod shop where the Limetime Green & Icebox White was laid down as well as the engine install and fabrication. MRG in Dallas redid the interior leather in all white with nicely contrasting black carpet. Everything on this vehicle has been gone through all the way down to the window trim.
