Used 1979 MG MGB for sale in Alpharetta, Georgia
Our Atlanta Showroom is proud to offer this 1979 MG MGB. This owner stated original mileage MG has been stored 15-20 years in St. Louis by the previous owner. It was just recently tuned-up and all the fluids and adjustments were made by a local expert in British cars. This is a very clean example of one of the most successful British marks in history. The MGB was manufactured by the British Motor Corporation (BMC), later British Leyland, as a four-cylinder, soft-top roadster from 1962 until 1980. The five-bearing 1,798cc engine produces 95 horsepower with peak power coming at 5,400 rpm. The majority of MGBs were exported to the U.S. and the distinctive rubber bumpers were fitted to meet domestic standards. The MGB was one of the first cars to feature controlled crumple zones designed to protect the driver and passenger in a 30 mph impact with an immovable barrier. Options include: radial tires, seat belts, convertible top, AM/FM radio, cassette, vinyl interior and AC.
