Its believed that the car has been painted, but the interior looks original. There is some surface rust underneath, but it doesnt look like theres any rust-through. The car runs and drives well, with the four cylinder engine and the manual transmission giving its new owner decent performance and great gas mileage. If you like survivors, this 180 could be your next car. Although many were produced for nearly a decade, MB had a limited number of dealers in the US at the time this car was built.
