For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a beautiful 1940 Buick 50 Super. This classic 40’ Buick is believed to be powered by the original Straight 8 V8 engine and 3 speed manual transmission on the column, a true “3 on the Tree”. The two-tone gray on gray paint scheme was resprayed the original colors in 2014, and features Alemeda Gray on top and Nottingham Gray on bottom. Both are PPG brand paints which also feature a clear coat. The wheels were also repainted in the original Dante Red. The car was owned by the same family for 25 years, in 2013 it was purchased by the current owner who brought the car back to life. The new owner had the following service completed: rebuilt fuel pump, master cylinder, replaced intake and exhaust manifold, installed new radiator, new front wheel cylinders, re-chromed the bumpers and guards, and replaced all windows with safety glass. The interior is believed to be original. The tan upholstery and wood grain accents, dash included, are in very good condition, especially considering they are almost 80 years old!
