Since back in 1959 these Ford F500 dump trucks were built to work not many of them were lucky enough to survive this long and be taken such great care of. Providing the low end torque needed to move any full load in this truck is the straight 6-Cylinder engine that is mated to a 4-Speed manual transmission. Both of which are numbers matching and original to the F500. Also original to this Ford is the 2-Speed rear end that brings back memories for those of us that grew up in rural areas and learned to drive in grain trucks. Moving to where the magic happens on this truck towards the rear is the black dump bed that is in just as great of shape as the rest of the truck proving it has had a pampered live. One of the best parts about this F500 is that the dump bed and all of its parts are still in working order and can be used like it was ment to be.
