VEHICLE DESCRIPTION

Used 1965 Ford Mustang for sale in OFallon, Illinois

We are excited to offer this rotisserie restored 1965 Ford Mustang for sale at our Gateway Classic Cars Showroom in Saint Louis. If you are looking for a classic Mustang that is priced to sell and doesnt need anything done to it, you should give this one your full consideration. BACKGROUND: Ford manufactured the first-generation Ford Mustang from March 1964 until 1973. The introduction of the Mustang created a new class of automobile known as the pony car. The Mustang’s styling, with its long hood and short deck, proved wildly popular and inspired a host of competition. It was initially introduced on April 17, 1964, as a hardtop and convertible with the fastback version put on sale in August 1964. At the time of its introduction, the Mustang, sharing its underpinnings with the Falcon, was slotted into a compact car segment. With each revision, the Mustang saw an increase in overall dimensions and engine power. The 1970 Ford Mustang was the last year before its dramatic redesign (source: Wikipedia). This 1965 Ford Mustang with a red exterior and a red/black interior enjoyed a rotisserie restoration in 2009, and the exterior still looks great and without any rust, scratches, or dents. The interior is also in good condition and lacks any stains or odors. As you can see in the pictures, the drivers seat does have some minor tears, but this purchase comes with brand new black leather seat covers that just need and upholster to put on. The dash is clean and does have any tears, cracks, or fading. As evident from the video, the 289 CID and automatic transmission sounds great and transitions smoothly through its paces.
