Used 1955 Chevrolet 210 for sale in OFallon, Illinois
For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1955 Chevrolet 210 better known as Like No Other. This show car is painted in Chevrolet Marina Blue and it shines like no other. 4 coats of color, color sanded for each coat, 5 coats of clear also color sanded for each coat and waxed and polished to a beautiful finish. You may not notice but the wings/vent windows for the doors have been removed for a cleaner look and there is also no fuel filler door. The new fuel filler is in the trunk. Finishing off this beautiful custom build is an all metal custom tilt front end. The original seams for the hood and fender are all still in place with serious fasteners beneath the good all hinged on the original bumper brackets. The interior is of course custom and was performed by Todd Ghan out of Springfield Missouri. The seats are from a 2002 Chrysler Concorde and the material is white alliante. A custom center console that flows to the back seat, which of course are also custom. The rear seats are original 55s but have 11 inches removed to allow for the custom center console. The rest of the interior includes 4 custom arm rest, billet door and window cranks. The carpet is a short nap in dark blue and the trunk has a similar treatment. Inside the trunk are two 9 batteries and behind the rear seat are speakers, an amplifier and a 10 inch sub woofer all tied to a Pioneer CD player. The engine is a 383 crate engine pumping out a healthy 425 horsepower and is mated to a 700R4 automatic transmission with overdrive by Monster Transmissions. Sending the power to the rear wheels is a Ford 9 inch rear end with a set of 4.11:1 posi traction gears. The 383 is equipped with a 750 Holley double pumper, MSD Ignition, Holley fuel pump, Sanderson Headers and 3 inch stainless steel exhaust running out to a set Flowmaster mufflers. Both the new crate engine and the rebuilt transmission have roughly 2,500 miles on them. Other notable drivetrain details include Spicer U Joints at each end of the polished aluminum driveshaft fastened to a billet yoke. All of this power is useless unless you can put it to the ground. Assisting with that challenge is a set of sticky Mickey Thompson ET Street 275/60R15s. Up front are BF Goodrich 205/65R15s both pairs wrapped around a set of Crager wheels. The suspension includes 2 inch dropped spindles from Danchuck, Power rack and Pinion steering by Unisteer Performance, front and rear sway bars by Danchuck and traction bars out back. Included with the sale is a custom staging area for a stand-out presentation at the big shows. For more information on this 1955 Chevy 210 Like No Other, call our St. Louis showroom at 618-271-3000.
