For sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago Showroom is this 1966 Chevrolet Nova II SS. This Nova was built in the Norwood Ohio Factory. The sheet metal used was black and it was originally painted in Aztec Bronze with black Bucket seats. Since then the car has had some work done to it. It has been repainted in a clean white paint that matches the black vinyl interior perfectly. The Original 327 V8 engine has been swapped out for a Chevrolet 350 V8, and paired to a 350 automatic Transmission. It gets its power down through a posi rear end and 3:37 Gears. The car has been fitted with a pro-street Chassis and suspension. The engine bay is new all the way to the firewall making it super clean under the hood. It has Sub Frame Connecting rods that can be adjusted to the drivers desire. The steering has been swapped out for a rack-and-pinion and drives like a dream. The 350 V8 has chrome Chevy Power Valve Covers a Chrome Edelbrock Air Filter, Chrome Alternator, and a new bigger Radiator to make sure this thing stays cool and ready to go! The Battery has been transferred to a more secure and safe location in the trunk inside an aluminum box with a Kill switch located on underneath the left side of the dash. The interior has remained untouched with black vinyl bucket seats. Under the center dash there are added Auto Gages for the Fuel, Oil, Volts, and Water Temperature. There is also a Auto Meter Street Tach connected to the steering column for the RPMs. Behind the back seats lies 2 pioneer speakers for better sound quality, and in the Glove box lies a dual AM/FM Radio. The car sits atop 15-inch Rally style Rims that really completes the aggressive look of this Nova. This beautiful Nova II is in need of its next own to show off its high worth.
