Used 1941 Willys Coupe for sale in Kenosha, Wisconsin
Gateway Classic Cars is proud in presenting this 1941 Willys Coupe for sale at the Milwaukee Showroom. Willys has been better known for their production of the earlier Jeeps prior to Jeep becoming a trademarked name, but before that the Americar had debuted in 1937 being one of a very few civilian coupes they made in their existence. The Americar had gone through some transformations in styling to where it began to resemble the Ford Deluxe by the time 1940 rolled around. The fact that these cars came equipped with the 60hp “Go Devil 4-cylinder engine that suffered a lot of engine failures made it a prime target for enthusiasts to turn these into top notch customized hot rods. This Willys has been customized to beauty to the point of being featured on the cover of a magazine. This glossy black beauty is built on a full tubular frame and has a 392 cubic inch hemi V8 crammed under the hood of it providing legendary amounts of horsepower through a 727 Torqueflight 3-speed automatic transmission back to a Ford 9 rear axle outfitted with a limited slip differential carrier and a 3:23 gear ratio. The mean stance of this car is completed with lowering the car and sitting it on a set of Billet Specialties staggered wheels wrapped in low profile radial tires. The coupe also features AM/FM radio with a CD player, power brakes, power windows, tilt wheel, and cruise control to makes this classic easy to operate in this day and age. This 1941 Willys Coupe is available at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video.
