This is the Collector Edition Trans AM, which has only 579 ORIGINAL MIKES on it.! This one has every option available except for the 12 Disc Changer. (see the Images 96-105) The Pontiac Firebird is an American automobile built by Pontiac from the 1967 to the 2002 model years. Designed as a pony car to compete with the Ford Mustang and Mercury Cougar it was introduced February 23, 1967, simultaneously as GMs Chevrolet division platform-sharing Camaro.[1] This also coincided with the release of the 1967 Mercury Cougar, Fords upscale, platform-sharing version of the Mustang.[2][3] The name Firebird was also previously used by GM for the General Motors Firebird 1950s and early 1960s concept cars. The Trans Am was a specialty package for the Firebird 2002 Collectors Edition Trans Am For the Firebirds final year, a collectors edition Trans Am was released as either a yellow WS6 convertible or WS6 t-top coupe, with twin black stripes from hood to tail, black-painted five-spoke 17-inch alloy wheels, and further black-trimmed body details.
