Research found, the Dodge B-series trucks featured what was called a high-visibility pilot-house cab. When you stand at a distance, you can see why that title was applied. This fine example comes with the optional rear quarter windows. Dodge engineers had the engines shifted forward, and the front axle moved back on the frame for better weight distribution as well as a shorter wheelbase, moving from 116 in to 108 in. The cargo bed sides were made higher to increase capacity by 40%, but she surely has that short bed everyone desires, and this one is nice and detailed with stained wood, and painted side boards. The redesigned cab could seat three people, with 2.5 more height, 6 more width and 3 additional in length, and now was mounted on rubber mounts for an improved ride - what innovation for its time!
