VEHICLE DESCRIPTION

Used 1969 Chevrolet Camaro for sale in Olathe, Kansas

Practically everyone is a fan of a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28! In contrast to some of the other classic muscle cars, the 1969 Camaro Z28 appealed to a wide variety of different drivers. From hardcore racing fans to school teachers, it seemed as if everyone became infatuated with this gorgeous muscle car. The 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28s 302-cid V-8 engine set it apart from the rest of the lineup. While the engines advertised output was 290 horsepower, it actually produced upwards of 400 horsepower in the real world. Many drivers were in awe of the cars deceptive performance. When tested at the track, the 1969 Camaro Z28 recorded a competitive 0-60 time of 7.4 seconds. Meanwhile, its quarter-mile time stood at an impressive 14.8 seconds. With a top speed of around 135 mph, the coupe was definitely a worthy track machine. According to many automotive journalists, the 1969 Camaro Z28 was among the most agile muscle cars of its era. Our iconic Z28 muscle car is coated in uncommon Maroon with White Stripes. A much more common color, black, is the order of the day on the inside of the very familiar 1969 Chevy cabin. The quad gauges, forwardly mounted in the console, were changed in favor of electronic gauges and may not be a favorite of Z28 enthusiasts, but, are super easy to read both day and night. The square period correct looking console gauges could be easily changed back. Although a 302, high-revving Chevy small block was originally at home in the engine bay, a potent 327 now lurks below the famous 302 badged cowl hood. The Camaros shifting commands are sent through a four-speed Muncie Rock Crusher and quickly wind-up in a twelve bolt posi rear end featuring a 3.73 gear ratio. All designed to place black tire particles in strip-like formations on asphalt road surfaces. Power brakes and power steering will also help to control and guide this mighty Z-28 to victory! To potentially put your name on a new title to this legendary machine, call the classic Camaro selling pros at Gateway Classic Cars of Kansas City! Our number is (913) 815-1340.
