This Mustang is ONE of TWO Roush “Custom P51 Prototypes produced in October of 2008 and was given the Roush P51 (A) supercharged engine. It was Roushs first production engine that had forged steel eight bolt crank, “H beam forged rods, 8.6: 1 dished pistons, 60LB injectors and a high capacity fuel pump. The compression was reduced so that it could be used with the R2300 supercharger. This combination of strong engine internals with lower compression provided the platform to run 15 LBS of boost creating the most power generated by a limited production 4.6L engine. 510 HP and impressive 510 Ft. Lbs. of torque. There were TWO cars built with stock bodies and the P51 (R2300) engine package. Both cars were commissioned by Jacky Jones and originally shipped to his North Carolina Dealership.
