The LaSalle was marketed as a companion marque to the Cadillac, priced slightly lower but just as luxurious. The early LaSalles were designed by GMs Legendary Harley Earl. And it really shows in this car. This car was lovingly restored some years back, from its gleaming Burgundy paint that shimmers in the full sun of a fall day, to the elegant red and tan interior and nicely appointed instrument panel. There is plenty of room to stretch out and the suicide rear doors hark back to a simpler time of class and luxury. This LaSalle has the legendary cast iron flathead 322 V-8 that is paired to the 3-speed synchro mesh manual transmission with 3 on the tree column shifting.
