This 2001 Porsche Boxster S was purchased by the seller approximately one year ago, and it has been modified to resemble the Porsche Boxster concept car that was unveiled at the Detroit auto show in January 1993. The bodywork was customized with relocated side vents, a fiberglass tonneau cover, and an altered front bumper, and the exterior was then repainted in silver over a reupholstered red interior. The build was later featured in the October 2016 issue of Porsche Panorama magazine. Power is supplied by a 3.2-liter flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle, and suspension modifications include Bilstein shocks and H&R lowering springs. The body has been repainted in Lexus Atomic Silver, and modifications include removal of the stock side vents with fabricated metal scoops lower on the body, a modified urethane front bumper with an altered grille, flared fenders, and Spyder badging at the rear. A fiberglass tonneau cover and fiberglass partial taillight covers have been added, both of which have been color-matched. Staggered-width 18? RH three-piece wheels with black centers and polished lips are wrapped in Kumho Ecsta tires measuring 245/35 in front and 265/35 at the rear. The cabin features power-adjustable seats with custom red leather upholstery and basketweave leather inserts with six rows of ventilation grommets. The black and red motif is carried over to the rest of the interior including the door panels and dashboard, and the footwells feature plastic wrapped Rennline floor panels and a Rennline pedal set. A brushed-metal shift knob has been installed over a red leather shift boot, Spyder badging has been added to the doorsills, and a body-matched fiberglass cap with the Porsche crest is fitted between the seats.
