Gateway Classic Cars Houston showroom is pleased to present this bright red 1950 GMC pickup. This all-steel truck has been turned into a very cool driver, ready for any cruise you want to take it on. A 350 CID V8 provides the power to its GM TH350 3-speed automatic transmission. The 350 has an Edelbrock top end, with a Performer RPM aluminum intake and Edelbrock 4BBL carb, and it sends the exhaust through coated cast iron exhaust manifolds into its true dual setup. While the cast iron manifolds dont breathe quite as freely as large primary headers would, they do keep the sound levels down a bit, allowing for easy conversation in the cab. Some recent additions include a new custom fit BeCool aluminum radiator, electric fan, serpentine belt accessory drive system, new fuel tank and lines, AM/FM/CD radio with Bluetooth and handsfree mic, and chrome plated air shocks in the rear to assist with leveling things out when the bed is full. Of course, with such attractive wood in that bed, youre probably not going to be hauling too much heavy stuff without putting in a protective covering in there first! Inside, the button tufted synthetic leather adds to the vintage look and is nicely complemented by the more modern look of the billet aluminum gauge surround. AutoMeter gauges give the operator feedback on the important stuff. A set of classic Cragar 5-spoke aluminum mags give this truck a sportier look than the original steelies, and its Goodyear radials improve the ride considerably. Power brakes, power steering, power windows, cold A/C, and tilt steering wheel improve the overall driving experience.
