Paying homage to the Lotus Seven from the 60s, there were improvements made to the chassis design, suspension, safety and comfort features. Most notable is the fact that they ditched the inline 4 cylinder engine for something a little bit more robust. A freshly rebuilt Chevrolet LS1 provides a little more punch, while the 4L60E, 4 speed automatic transmission transfers the power to a Ford 8.8 rear end that houses 3:73 gears. Pull the quick release steering wheel and ease down into the drivers seat, take a look at the classic flat dash with AutoMeter speedometer, tachometer, oil pressure, water temp, voltage and fuel gauges. 4 wheel disc brakes sit inside a set of Vintage Wheel Works V60 wrapped in BF Goodrich G Force Comp 2 tires, size 245/45/17 in the front and 275/40/17 in the rear.
