Of the 100,085 Mercury Cougars built in 1969, 66,351 were Standard Hardtops. Only 510 of those were equipped with the Ram Air 428CJ-4V engine. 304 were equipped with Automatic Transmissions. Of those, 162 were equipped with the Eliminator Package. 61 of those cars were painted Bright Yellow, and 53 of those cars had Black Hi-Back Bucket Seats. Of those, only 30 were ordered with Hood Pins. 27 of those cars had AM Radios, and of those, only 3 had Manual Steering and Manual Drum Brakes.
