VEHICLE DESCRIPTION

Used 1957 Chevrolet 210 for sale in Houston, Texas

Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is proud to offer this 1957 Chevrolet 210 for sale. They dont make cars as beautiful as cars were in the late 50s: the curves and the pronounced tail fins add flair and character that no car today offers. During the restoration, its owner decided to focus on performance over pretty, starting with the engine of course. Its potent BluePrint Engines Cruiser 350 CID V8 (dynoed at 375 flywheel HP) is outfitted with a complete Holley Sniper 2 fuel injection system (including new fuel tank and Holley in-tank fuel pump). Backing the peppy 350 is a stout Bowler Transmissions Tru-Street 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission. Thanks to its new wiring harness, several enhanced subsystems are now supported, starting with the addition of dual electric fans for massive aluminum radiator. A serpentine accessory drive front of engine kit has been added to tidy things up and simplify the engine bay. Ceramic coated exhaust manifolds feed into a true dual exhaust, which sounds just right. The car is equipped with power steering too, but more importantly it has a new R134a Vintage Air A/C system. Just like many of these, this 210 is a two tone in which the interior matches the exterior. The interior has been completely redone by Midsouth Interiors, and features sound dampener underneath the new carpet, along with new synthetic leather seating surfaces, 3-point front seat belts, 3 lap belts in the rear, and a new headliner, so this 1950s cruiser is ready to take the whole family out for a spin. The dash has been freshened up, and now features a complete set of Classic Instruments electronic gauges, including fuel, oil pressure, coolant temp, volts, and tach, with the oil pressure, tach, and voltmeter housed in the speedometer nacelle. The radio has been also upgraded to a Custom Audio retro-style AM/FM unit. Everyone will appreciate the improved ride that its upgraded suspension provides. The suspension and steering improvements include being lowered 1-inch (thanks to new springs front and rear), tubular front control arms, 5 degrees positive caster, and a big front sway bar, so this beast rides and steers quite nicely. A larger dual master cylinder and front disc brakes help bring this cruiser to secure stops when you need it. The only thing this slick ride is missing is a fresh paint job to really take it to the next level! So come grab this classic and add it to your collection and have a road worthy family cruiser for those nice sunny weekends.
